When encountering issues on a macOS/Linux operating system, follow these troubleshooting steps:
- Download the troubleshooting script file.
- Open the Terminal application.
- Navigate to the folder where you have downloaded the troubleshooting script. Alternatively, you can drag the file directly onto the terminal window to input its path automatically.
- Execute the script with root privileges by running the following command: sudo sh ./troubleshooting.sh and enter your own password when prompted.
Note: The sudo command allows you to run a command as a superuser or with root privileges. By prefixing the command ./troubleshoot.sh with sudo, you ensure that it is executed with the necessary administrative permissions. Please make sure you have the appropriate permissions and understand the implications of running commands with root privileges before executing the command.
- The script will start running and perform various troubleshooting tasks. Once the script has completed, it will generate a troubleshoot.log file.
- Please locate the troubleshoot.log file and send it to bhsupport@cyberbay.tech for further analysis and assistance.
